issue with geometry mode

hey everyone,

i was following the 3dbuzz map creation tutorial and when the guys works in the geometry mode he can drag sides up/down & left/right. when im in the same situation it does only offer draging to sides (see attached screenshot below).

any idea why is that and how can i switch to the 3dbuzz type of editing? thanks in advance!

Change the Reference Co-ordinate System from "Local" to "World".

can't seem to find that anywhere. could you navigate me please?

It's up at the top near kismet(green K icon) and the move tools. You can clearly see it says local up there.
