Import "APEX Binary Asset(*.apb)" and "APEX XML Asset(*.apx)",what are they for ?

    Hey.

I don't know if you guys have noticed it yet,but if you choose the import option in the content browser then you also have the options of choosing to import "APEX Binary Asset(*.apb)" and "APEX XML Asset(*.apx)".
What is that actually for then ?
Will they be used for upcoming APEX features for UDK ?
Is it going to be possible to setup your APEX assets in your 3D modeling programs like Maya,3D Studio Max,Softimage, and then export these assets (through the Nvidia DCC-plugins) from your 3D modeling package to *.apb format or *.apx and then import it into UDK ?

Yes they are in place for the upcoming Apex system, though it isn't released yet so you can't do anything with them, yet.
    Hope this helped
