    InterpActor lighting problem

    Hello all, I need help with the lighting of a InterpActor, I used the static mesh of the roof given in UDK and it has a hole in the middle, I used DominantDirectionalLight to shine through the hole, I wanted to cast a shadow on the floor which is the InterpActor, but when I built the lighting for the level, the InterpActor floor appears to be totally lighted up even though the roof static mesh is blocking it.



    Can anyone help me with this?

    Maybe try using a "Dominant Directional Light Moveable" instead?

      When lighting interp actors (things that move) you need to use a dynamic light.
      Also make sure the dynamic light is checked in the lighting channels of the actor settings.
