Sky dome lighting?

Hello, so I imported a material for a sky dome. I pull out a sky dome mesh, and I replace the material, but now its black. I put some lights up to it, I can see the material. What happened to the dynamic lighting?

When I tested my game, (after rebuilding the lighting) the material that shows is the original material, not the one I gave it, it only shows the one that I gave it in the editor. Any ideas?
