    Convert Physics Asset to Static mesh ?

    Hi,

    For a class from school I have to make a level in UDK. I want to put a VH_Cicada vehicle in my scene (though bigger than it normally is). You're not supposed to be able to fly with it, neither move or damage it, also static is usefull for lighting
    Currently I have it in the scene as a kAsset, but then it moves when shot at.
    Well, to not bore you too much, here's the deal:
    I want to be able to put the Cicada in the scene as a static mesh, but I can't seems to find the mesh of it in the content browser, neither can I cenvert the kAsset to a static mesh :S (using rightclick->convert->? no option to make it static here ? )

    Anyone has any idea how to do this ?

    It's not a static mesh. It's a skeletal mesh. The best you can probably do is place it as a SkeletalMeshActor. It wont have static lighting though.
