Removing Sub-Sequences

I apologize if this is a total noob question, but it there a way to delete sub-sequences?

I can't right-click on them in the Sequences window, nor does selecting them and hitting delete do anything. I also tried just deleting all the nodes in the sub-sequence and then saving and re-opening the map, but that doesn't work either.

Delete the sequence node instead...

That's what I can't figure out how to do. It doesn't display the individual sub-sequence node anywhere.
