I think that it's really great that UDK removes unused assets when I save my package, but sometimes I actually want to keep them for later. I know this may be possible by exporting them (haven't tried that yet) but I am not looking for that. Since, that would mean that I'm keeping track of which ones are not used at the moment. Is there any option where I can tell the UDK not to remove anything until I decide?

How to keep unused assets in my package?

Actually, it doesn't work for me. Here is what I'm doing:
1. Start UDK editor
2. Save as "Test01" in "MyMaps" (a subfolder that I've created in Maps)
3. Import a PNG to Test01 (converts to a texture)
4. Save, Close UDK
5. Open UDK editor, Open Test01
and my texture (imported PNG) is not there. Also, the "Fully Load" option is disabled in the right-click menu on the package.
Am I doing something wrong? It seems that only the assets that I have placed somewhere on the scene are kept in the package after save/re-open.
