    I think the easiest way to solve this is to use a different lighting channel on the underground stuff. So for the BSP uncheck the BSP channel and check Unnamed_1 and for the underground lights also check Unnamed_1.

    This way it's impossible to spill light from anywhere else you don't want.

    bsp Lighting Issues

    Hellow, I am a student with one semester of UDK experiance under my belt and am currently making a level in which our outdoor area is lit by dominent directional lights and looks beautiful, however we have a underground bsp area that is somehow being lit by the same lights. The indoor area needs to be lit soley by torch lights. The static messes underground are recieving the light just fine, it is just the bsp's that are looking a little awkward.

    I have been told by a few friends that it might have something to do with options in the material editor but I can't figure it out and unfortunatly our project is due in hours

    any tips?
