Nothing is wrong in the previewer, there is a light in the top right corner, you can move this light by pressing "L" and mouse click and drag in the viewport.

    In the PIE, compile it.

It doesn't look like anything is wrong.

I think it's just the preview lighting in the material editor. Have you tried to move the camera around to see the preview from different angles (hold left mouse button on the preview window and drag to move around)? You could also try to change the preview mesh by clicking on the cube instead of the sphere right there in the top of the material editor.

    1) Screenshot please? Hard to tell what you mean here.
    2) Specularity go to specular, Occlusion you could multiply with your diffuse, and for displacement read up on bumpoffset here http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/Mater...tml#BumpOffset

    Material Editor and Crazy Bump

Hi! I have some questions about Materiel Ed and Crazy Bump....

    1) I take this texture http://www.openwebgraphics.com/resou...texture_11.jpg
and use it in Crazy Bump and then i imported to UDK... When i tried to do material it done something strange... I just put diffuse map to diffuse input... But on the preview window it shows like one part of texture lighter and on one darker... How can i fix it?

    2) There are too maps, which i don't know to what input i have to conect them (i know i don't must have them here but... i want)... It's Specularity, Occlusion and Displacement...

    Thanks you!
Working...
