Foliage change in october build

They seem to have removed a feature I was using in the new build for adding foliage to terrain. How I was doing it before was to go to the terrain layer I wanted to add foliage to propeties and click add foliage and change the density and size and everything.

I was just wondering what the alternative to this is in the new build?

I have a problem with deco layers though when I add one and set the mesh, factory and density and then go to the terrain panel and try to paint with this layer selected it just paints the heightmap. Any ideas?
