It seems like the Beam module in Cascade is one of those modules where the slightest mis-click will utterly destroy the effect.

I am trying to use the Beam with noise to simulate sort of Lightning trail. I got the lightning the way I want but I want it to trail behind the "core" of the particle emitter. I figured I could attach the target to an emitter or something that is offset a little behind the source. However, I can not seem to get that to work. So then I figured I could just set a distance behind the effect but I need it to move relative to the source so it is always behind it..so far no luck.

Has anyone done this before? Anyone got any ideas?
