How to turn on a light?

i have searched around looking for a tutorial that i can follow that will allow me to Use a light switch to turn on and off a light, and i have not found one.

does anyone know of a tutorial of this kind, or be willing to make one for me and the community, please?

These tutorials are very useful in general. If you can't download them all then you're looking for the Kismet package which contains among other things a video to set up a toggle-able light.
