    Time material limit

    I want to make material that changes the color to the specified value (shines).

    like
    var int ColorValue=0;

    for(i=0;i<=178;i++){
    ColorValue = i;
    }

    Time function is seamless and I would break it

    and scroll down to FMod node

    Then multiply it by 178 to get your range instead of 2 like on picture.

      I still have to get the effect, where the number comes to 178 and stops time. Because the material Fmod flashes.

        Then all this is not so simple.
        IF you use CLAMP instead of FMod it will flash again at some point.
        You also want to trigger that material so it flashes when you want not only at beginning right after level is loaded and ready.

        In that case best for you is making material instance with exposed color and brightness value, then changing this from matinee or kismet.

        And best would be if you describe effect you want create.
