Can you create a path of static meshes?

I'm making a fence in certain parts of my map and I have one static mesh of one section which is repeated along the fence (as shown in the image below) but I had to do this by placing each one individually which can be time consuming if you are fencing a big area.

So my question is; Is there some sort of way to create a path which represents the fence and then set the static mesh you want to be on this path?

The spline loft is a way. Not sure if it's the only way, but it's the one I know about. Although I'm pretty sure there's no tools like Array tools inside UED.

It may or may not work that well. Probably 2 major things that can be problematic. The mesh will deform. This is maybe not too bad, but you have to see if it's bad or not. The other thing is you won't have collisions, you still need to add that also by collision volumes.

You could easily duplicate your fence say 10x times (or even 50 times), then marquee-select those modular fence pieces and turn them into a Prefab (*RMB -> Create Prefab).

Once you save your Prefab of a large group of Fence pieces, you can then easily duplicate your Prefab instead of just single-handedly duplicating each piece individually.

or you can use proc building volume, make rule for walls that put your meshes.

However i am not sure if collision and top/bottom surfaces of volume can be turned off, but knowing epic they implemented that.
