    UDK gains new AO issues

    so er, any way to stop UDK's horrendous Ambient Occlusion issues?



    from what I understand, AO is meant to be subtle... giant glowy SHADOW is not subtle

    Go to your PostProcessChain in the Content Browser and play with the Halo settings tab in the AmbitentOcclusionEffect node till the effect looks good. Reducing the Halo Distance scale will help.

      Epic should really disable this by default in next release. This question comes up every week.
