    Spotlight Problem

    hi everyone, in my project player has a flashlight (a spotlight attach to the actor) but i have a problem about it. So as you see in the s.s. below, light of the spotlight actor passes through the wall and lighten the other walls in it's own radius. Is there a light property for that ?

    you need to turn on dynamic shadows

      Do you mean "Cast Dynamic Shadows" in spotlight properties. It's already turned on.

        Yeah I'v noticed that with every UDK build lighting bleeds more and dynamic shadows go through objects this seemed to start in the March or April build not sure how to fix it.

            What you need to do is make sure to use a movable spot light and switch the shadow mode from Modulate to Normal and also uncheck the option Cast Composite Shadow.
