    Static Mesh & Materials question

    Hi all.

    I've created a wall static mesh with a UV on it, multiplied it, and altogether I imported it in the UDK as one. The UV works correctly with its material. However I want to apply and a second one in order to show that each multiplied wall is unique.

    Is there a way to ignore the UV and just apply a second material? Or perhaps a work around?
    The second material will have transparency, in order to feel random.

    Well it wouldn't necessarily be 2 materials it would still be 1 with the ability to vertex paint multiple texture samples onto a single mesh is this what your looking for?

      Indeed. That's what I tried to create from the start but it didn't work out.

      Edit: I used the keywords that you said and found some interesting things like this Mesh / Vertex Painting Basics - UDK Tutorials by Javahawk. Seems what I needed. Thank you.
