    Matinee changing post process?

Hi there! I'm trying to change my post process volume dof value, using matinee (from totally blurry, to totally crisp, for example), but I keep failing. Is it even possible? Because when I try to change any value in my volume, and add it as a key frame in my matinee animation, nothing really happens. Any help on that topic would be appreciated.

Could you use kismet instead? Just enable and disable the PostProcessVolume?

I would love to do that smoothly. Also, I had some weird problems with disabling a post process volume - could you explain that idea more?

Make a camera animation, apply the post process changes to the camera in that camera animation, and then play that via Kismet - action - camera - play. You wont notice the camera is active while playing.

Also could try attaching PP volume to something else, then move that something else in and the volume will follow, if it refuses to move by itself. Moving also works better than toggling possibly.

Use the toggle action to enable/disable a post volume in kismet. In the volume's properties you can change the transition time. I think default is 1 second. So, make that longer or shorter as long as you want to "fade" the effect of dof on the scene.

No matter if I'll move the volume, or if I disable it in Kismet, the transition from blurry to crisp is still instant. No matter what transition time is set.

You basically use 2 volumes covering the same area. One is set to blurry settings and one to crisp settings. On both you make the transition times whatever you want.. lets say 2 sec. For the blurry one you make it's "Priority" a number.. make it "1". As long as it's higher than the other one which would be "0". Because they overlap, the higher priority volume is used.. which is the blurry one.

Now, when you disable the blurry one it will use the crisp one. The transition time used here is the time set on the crisp volume. If you switch back on the blurry volume, then the transition time used is the time set on the blurry volume.

Nope, it does not work. It turns to crisp immediately.
                  EDIT:
Hell, my fault. Thank you mate, it works great! I'm really thankful ;]

It lets me only change the drawscale in matinee. Not very helpful.

But what If I need the post process changes from my first person view? I don't want them to be seen through that camera.
