    multi sub object issue

    I saw the great tutorial
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiGmbH8nl_A

But I'm having some issues recreating it.
I setup a multi material with pollys assigned to each material id

But in UDK it only imports one material

I need some help, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Your materials are currently named "Material #2" and "Material #3". You should name them "skin_00" and "skin_01" to get 2 materials in the UDK.

If that alone does not work then make sure to apply at least a diffuse map for each material. Any map will do. Although I think this step only counts for Skeletal Mesh and not Static Mesh. I can't remember exactly now.

Edit* solved, once I added defuse maps to the textures 2 materials appears in UDK *Edit

I renamed both parts, the sub material, and the name (as you can see)

      but when exported

      then imported
      only one material went through...
