    3DMax\UDK Pipeline

    As of now , i understand that i can export to UDK via .FBX or .ASE , but can i make a whole level using 3dsmax or do i have to recreate it using UDK ?

    if there are any other aspects i did not understand , please explain them , and thanks in advance for your response guys

    Yup you can basicly make the entire level from static meshes created from 3ds max. Its recomended for the moore advanced users though.

    If you here to make the entire map as a static mesh i would suggest you separate the models into smaller ones and use modular design for your static meshes so that they are easy to reuse. Just build your map and use export selected model and you wont have any issues.
