    Light/Shadow problem

    hey guys,
    so heres my problem...i made some crappy stuff, added some lights, directional lights, lightmass importance volumes, but when i build all, i get some weird shadows...how can i get those shadows better?

    thx for advice

    P.S.: the materials are all selfmade...

    Check Lightmap resolutions.
    If you are using BSP brushes, set the lightmaps to 2 or 4.

          does anyone know how to set the lightmaps to 2 or 4 because i used BSP brushes for this and Zomy said i should set lightmaps to 2 or 4...but where?

              Ah... the classic lightmass issues.
              Lighting passes throught the bottom of a wall.
              Lightmass resolution for brushes won't be much of a help, considering that this sh...t also happens with static meshes (in my case, even if those statics are half-placed below terrain's surface)
              I'd just love to read an official answer on this matter.

                is there a way to select all my surfaces at once? or do i have to click on everyone of them?

                2. question:
                you said i have to set lightmaps to 2 or 4...in the surfaces' properties, there is always a value of 32 (lightmap resolution)...now do i have to set the value to 2/4 or to 64/128 (<--32*2/4)?
