Brush Question

what's the sense of the "Tessellated"-Option found in the Brush Builder?

To make the output brush geometry tessellated - in case you need to know where the triangle edges are, in case you want to export them as meshes.

make my bots run around like there were paths, but without placing path nodes?

It is, when you replace bot/npc navigation code (AI, path finding routine etc) with your own.
