    UDK map to UT3

I created a map in udk for my own project, but I decided that i am not going to use it in it. So what i want to do is release this map separately for UT3. Is there way to open UDK maps in ut3 editor. Any conversion or something. Its really i don't want to lose job done on the map

you could try to rename the extention of the udk map to that of ut3, and then put it inside the maps directory of ut3.

But, i think those are not compatible, since udk is a very much upgraded version of UE3, as the one used in UT3.

If you have the same package structure a wild guess would be that you could export the map as a .t3d and import that to UT3, making sure you have the packages loaded in UT3 before doing so. It's worth a try.

Thanks to Denny it worked. Now have to import custom packages and redo lights (no lightmass in UT3) but all the geometry and models are there
