    bUseAsOccluder GONE?

    So I was building a map that takes place outdoors and the plan was to use large cliff rocks to block visibilty. I used the technique in the UT3 Editor for those maps but I was noticing the bUseAsOccluder seems to be missing on static meshes in UDK. Did it move or is it gone for good?

    If it is gone are we supposed to cull based on size/distance almost exclusively? I was very happy that the old Portal/Anti-Portal system was depreciated but Im not sure whats going on now.

    I think everything culls stuff now.

      Xendance is largely correct - meshes will usually occlude by default. I do believe that there are still settings to override this behaviour however (so that meshes with transparent materials do not occlude - that would be disastrous for things like windows )
