    Occluding Particles?

    Is there something I can add to the particle effect to stop it from going though walls? Or some kind of volume that can block them from entering my building?

    It is possible to have particles with collision - this may be something to look into to solve the problems you are having.

      Yeah I know how to set that up, but looks really odd with a sand storm effect bouncing off a wall. I hoping there is a way to make it just not render inside a volume.

        It doesn't need to bounce, can just instantly kill it on first touch

          Why not simulate soft particles by using DepthBiasAlpha in the material to soften the edges of the particles when ever it is near an object.
