Custom cube maps from real environment

[RT-Visualization]

As the title says, I would like to have custom cube maps, but instead of the classic landscape I would like to use my own pictures to create a cube map and use it ( for reflections and environment )
I know that I can't just take pictures with an ordinary digital camera, so do you know what kind of equipment I will need and if photoshop is able to manage that?

Thanks for the link, but right now my man problem is HOW to make pictures that I can use to create cube maps!
