  • assigning mat to BSP.. how??

    very basic question.. i cant figure out how to assign material to BSPs except dragging it from content browser.. in UE3 you just clicked mat and it assigned it to whatever you had selected.. in UDK it doesnt work that way.. so.. how do i assign mat to more than one face at the time?? to the whole BSP lets say..

    thanks in advance.. ill have tons of questions more in the next couple of days )

    Select the faces you require, right click>Apply material. The BSP stuff works mostly the same, except for, as you mention, the loss of 'click to apply' from within the texture browser.

      Whenever I drag/drop a material it usually covers the whole object, and most likely really awfully as that material isnt UV'd onto the mesh. I'd recommend doing your materials externally then exporting the map, so when you throw that material on, it fits.
