    black decolayers

    My decolayers are showing up black. Anyone know why this could be?
    I've done it the same way i did for UT3.
    The same static mesh being used by the decolayer displays light fine as a static mesh.

    Did you check all of the lighting options for your layer/the mesh, and check your world properties light options? There are hosts of new toys, but if you don't configure them then they can be a hindrance.

      Err okay i was setting up some lighting in the level and realized that its only light(points) that won't light the decolayers; so its not too much of a problem. but I'd still like to figure this out.

        You are applying the texture as a emmisive right?

          it is going about Decolayers in Terrain?
          (maybe i am wrong and dudes above right here).
          I suggest that Decolayers do not touched by Lightmass.
          If it possible can someone point how to bring it work?
