Ivan84 repliedI have the same behavior, my game run at really low fps (and very often it freezes) in mobile previewer. On ipad 2 it run at 60 fps. I don't know why but don't worry too much about it.

tom161 repliedHi mate, it also helps to minimize the editor window, whilst loading up the mob. Previewer.

DGlow repliedMake sure mobile emulation is turned on in the editor and your drivers and udk version are upto date and all that jazz

Postie repliedDidn't tried for actual iPad device. And, err, i don't think that six-core Athlon and Radeon HD 5800 can probably suck something... BF3 runs ok on it
Well, thanks anyways, gotta get an iPad. Anyway i have to build for iPad in near future...

dprat0821 repliedThe Previewer? but not on devices? Try to build your project onto devices, if fps raise there, it means your PC sucks. EpicCitadel can run more than 25 fps on my iphone4.

Mobile previewer low framerate
Hi there, mates! Got some strange issue here. Recently built up a tiny scene to run with Mobile Previewer, to have a certain vision how the things would look like. Previewer ran at about 8 fps and that was not ok. I thought like, ok, maybe my scene isn't tiny enough to run smoothly. And i opened EpicCitadel, to check how the things should be handeled properly. And I was unpleasantly surprised... I ran the previewer and it showed me same ~8 fps.
The question is: Is that ok that previewer runs at such low framerates? I used both iPad2 resolution and features for testing.Tags: None
