    UDK iOS and Networking

    Good afternoon,

I was wondering if the networking layer for iOS applications is the same as for Windows ones? Meaning, is it limited to 32 players and communication through UDK clients only (server is integrated directly in the client, only way to bypass it is with a DDL - terrible option) ?

    Thanks for your time

No, it is a little different. From memory it is up to four connected devices and they all must be connected via GameCenter. However if you use TCPLink you can do what ever you want.

PC standard is usually limited to 64 not 32. But it is just a theoritical max.

GameCenter meaning a iOS device serving as a host? (Client + Server)
      And TCPLink is extremely limited.
