Modular Pawn set up in UDK 2013

I must have been asked 300 times over the years to make a tutorial for the modular pawn, so here it is , in a single video ...
I had a series up last year on YouTube but was unable to complete it because I just couldn't get the final pawn working...Its now fixed and working in Feb 2013 build, despite the UDN page saying it was last tested in June 2011, (I think) ........
Here's the page on the UDN about the modular pawn,

    Here's the tutorial,

Thank you so much for this tutorial .Now I have a few questions if I`m not bothering you too much.I plan on doing a car racing game and I want to make a vehicle tunable(change front bumper,wing,etc.).I believe that its a lot for you to answer me but how exactly I can do this if you have some tips?Is it the same process as in your tutorial? And if yes,how can I build a menu from where to choose what part to install/replace.THank you very much and sorry if its a lot to ask.

Yeah that's quite a bit to ask for and you may not see a tutorial anytime soon. However, Customizable Vehicles could just use attachments via sockets/bones. Typically the Chassis Mesh Geometry is non animated and the Vehicle code assumes they have a single rigid chassis. So create your Base Chassis SkeletalMesh, Add Sockets for attachments: Bumpers, GroundFX, Wings, etc. You could possibly take a modular approach to building different base chassis' for an assortment of different types of vehicles(this is the route I'm pursuing). I've played customizable racing games in which the Attachment Meshes contain morphtargets allowing you to adjust from one shape to another pre-determined shape, automatically maintaining proper fit and orientation on the chassis. Chosker's RPG Starter Kit may be useful in getting your customization menu up and running.
