Thank you Monkeypuzzle. I haven't actually done anything about the characters. But I think that the main character will be classic sfi-fi style, maybe with a laser gun against some robots. He will also use some robots, programing them for opening some doors. I am trying to make the scenes look like old sci-fi paintings, but for almost everything I am using only one square mesh and this is taking me a lot of time.There are also some cylinder meshes and spheres. I don't want to use more complicated meshes because the game has to be playable also on simple computers (like mine ).

Hey Garbagestar,

Looking good. I like your take on the classic sci-fi corridor. What do you plan for the characters? How do you see this project setting itself apart form other games in this genre?

Yes I will add things outside of the ship, but first I need do build the inside. The only thing that I've done outside for now is a sky with stars and it is not perfect.It is difficult to create a spherical skydome. I shot a spherical panorama of my stars in the 3d software that I am using (cinema4D) and the panorama photo is perfect, but I can't create a perfect UVs for a sphere object to use for the sky. Anyway, I will find solution with time , because the stars will be very important for solving some of the puzzles in this game.

Looks cool. But will you add more Outside Views of external parts of the station / ship & planets & stars etc?

Try Edit Post -> Go Advanced -> Manage Attachments and upload the photo directly using the UDK forums own system...

Here are some pics from the game I am making with UDK. It is the first time I am making something like this. It is harder than I though but also awesome. Soon I will make a gameplay video. The level is far from finished, I haven't created any characters yet. I think that I have to finish the environment first.
