Elite vs. Freedom - third-person shooter

    The Game

Elite vs. Freedom is an action packed, third-person shooter that can be described as "modern warfare meets military science fiction".

Fight at key locations around the globe in 14 missions (playable in the singleplayer campaigns or in co-op multiplayer mode), as well as on 7 maps in the competitive multiplayer mode. The game features four different game modes (in competitive multiplayer), two playable factions (Elite SWAT officers and Freedom insurgents), and a full arsenal of six unique weapons. Each has two fire modes specializing in either melee or ranged attack. The game is built on the Unreal Development Kit (UDK) game engine and will be distributed on Steam for Windows PC.

    Story

The year is 2030 and everything's gone to Hell.

The world is commanded by a singular government. Total surveillance has been established and the "rule of law" is enforced by the World Police Department.

The Elites - are the rulers of this world.

They are the most high-ranking members of multinational corporations, media giants and various members of the social elite. Decreasing voter turnouts, manipulation of elections, media bias, and falsified statistics have slipped society to the brink of total authoritarian control. Most of humanity has lost faith in the government yet for the sake of surviving, accept the new world order. Only small groups continue to resist.

One of these groups is known as... Freedom.

    Game Modes

    Assassination

The Freedom force's goal is to eliminate a high-profile target located on the map within a specific timeframe. The Elite team has to protect this target until time runs out. This will not be an easy task for Freedom as the target is heavily armed and dangerous.

    Kidnapping

Freedom forces need to capture a high-profile target in this mode and escort him to an evacuation point on the map. The Elite team's goal is to prevent this from happening. The target is heavily armored and impervious to attack. However, time is limited so the Freedom forces will need to work quickly.

    Espionage

Freedom forces have the opportunity to collect special intelligence in this scenario. There are multiple targets, which need to be acquired and returned to the evacuation point, before time expires. Elite forces must protect this data at all cost.

    Sabotage

In this game mode Freedom forces will need to deliver a powerful explosive to a target area on the map. Freedom will need to work together, in order to protect the bomb carrier, as Elite will be attempting to stop this attack at every turn.

Stunning graphics and level designs reminds me of Swat 4, " that was UE2 build" but, ofc even better graphics. Is it going to have a non paid playable player version ? like has red orchestra 2 ?

Thank you - I'm a huge fan of SWAT 3 and 4 - great games! The locations of the levels are similar (hotels, convention centers) and you can also play as a SWAT officer - but also as a Freedom fighter. However in this game it's in a dystopian "1984 George Orwell" like world and we have weapons with melee attachments (like in Gears of War).

I'm not sure if we will release a demo, but we will post this game on Steam Greenlight soon, including a new trailer with HD in-game footage and new screenshots.

Cool, i think it will succed due to how well this kind of games combine with unreal engine heh.

I think swat 3 was cooler for the functionality than swat 4 was, it was more oriented to be simulator, wich made it more serious and stuff, even if the graphics sucked, (not at those times), the art overall had a very nice look like, pretty serious, so inmersive.

I Think that before releasing any gameplay at all, even videos you should work out the camera /change fov and other aspects / " for what i see in your videos" something that shows of the character something bigger, Work out a lot the fire effects, the animations and the movement more smooth.

That's right, the levels in SWAT 3 were based on real locations in the Los Angeles area, while SWAT 4 had only fictional locations. For a game from 1999 SWAT 3 had great graphics with a lot of small details in the environment art.

No worries - we have an aim/zoom camera view implemented in the game. The animations are smooth - the lag is just caused by the recording tool. For the final version of the trailer we will record new in-game footage, this time in a higher definition and we will show the cover system + drones + improved friendly and hostile AI in the video.
