Here we go, my first shot at UDK

Hello everyone, i just did my first level in UDK, still gray box stage and i would like to have your opinion. It is a train station with 4 shop, 3 point of access and 3 train track. Watch out for the track if you fall in them you wont be able to get back on and the garbage will probably be deleted or placed somewhere else. It is a bit intimidating to post here with all the pro stuff going on hehe.

anyways, im new to this so any feedback would be cool.

    Thank you guys.

I don't have time to look at it right now, however, post some images and/or videos.

Get a free photobucket account to post images ;P

    Good luck.

Personally I'd use simple static meshes for blocking out. It's much faster, easier and efficient than using BSP brushes. Basically almost all your level can be blocked out using just a simple cube mesh with different scaling settings.

I'd say carry on with BSP for blocking out, it's what it's here for. Once you're used to it, you'll go fast enough, especially when making interior spaces.
