    Im lost... Im lost...!

Hello, Im currently going to school to become a game designer, but so far have not been able to get any classes that actually relate to game design. (still getting my pre requisites in.) Anyways, decided to try going on my own but so far have had very little successes with this. Ive actually made my own little game already. (basically a maze.) but cannot figure out how to add any opponents, weapons, or even features to my game at all, and the website help section has not helped much as their instructions for me do not seem to go along with what I am seeing on the map! Also, one thing that Ive read online is that Im supposed to download some features such as the terrain models, skeletons, etc. But every site that I have tried has been a complete bust, and Ive just had to go in system and remove a whole bunch of bugs that were downloaded with them! Any advice for a guy who is trying to do this on his own and has had exactly 0 experience?

http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/Gamep...mmingHome.html Check this out, you will need to use unreal script to add your own weapons, opponents etc. This is also not the right section for this...

Take it one step at a time.
If you have created a maze level, then that is a good start. Maybe next look up a tutorial on adding enemy AI. I prefer videos to the typical UDN docs. Youtube is full of them
Also, the link below is full of great tips and tuts

Try watching 3DBuzz's tutorials on UDK, they helped me learn the program originally.

He goes through all the different aspects of UDK.

The videos are available HERE just scroll down and look for 3dbuzz the vids are compressed and come in packages.
