    UPDATE 2 Brick Building

SCROLL TO BOTTOM OF FIRST PAGE

Hi, I have been working on this house, on my spare time.

I will be updating this thread until it is finished, so keep watching.

Note: I have not done any optimization yet.

tell me what you think of it, and rate it 1-10 (1 being awful! and 10 being amazing!)

honestly, with only 1.5k isn't a lot of poly, so you don't have any optimization to do.

It would be nice to have a picture of your inspiration, cause with only that, its hard to give comments.

But so far, it look clean!

Ok, thanks for the comment lebaje

this is one of the pics inspired me
      http://www.norskfolkemuseum.no/PageF...n%20gate_1.jpg

Is there a polygon reference list that I can look at? Like, a small prop should have 300 polys, a character should have 2000 poly.

Your "building" work looks perfect and clean for polys.

The only limits should be your graphic card. Unless you don't want to publish it, you should check how good is your graphic card and evaluate depending on it if you can go higher or go with less poly

as for the picture you post, I would even do the wooden beams on the wall. that will add a lot of realism in the picture and its won't ask a lot for your computer
