Trifekhta: A surreal musical world to explore

I'm working on album of electronic music and wanted to create a video game for it...

Part video game and part music video; the emphasis is on creating futuristic / surreal
environments that complement the music. Unlike most games, the music comes first
and the graphics and interaction follow. It's kind of like how in some games, I'm as interested
(or more so) in exploring the environment than accomplishing game objectives. Well, Trifekhta
is being designed with that in mind, so that the exploration will be the game "objective."

I've got one area complete and I intend to have three in the final version.
I just started using UDK, though I've been working with computer graphics for over ten years.
It was quite a steep learning curve, but I've got the basics down (with a lot of good info from this forum)
and am now focusing on making it super cool.

...Some other precedents for this idea include Primus's enhanced CD for their album Tales from the Punchbowl
and Wu-Tang clan's Wu-Tang Forever. And recently Bjork has done a lot with her Biophilia album include an app.

and here's some of my music

I don't enjoy much electronic music, it's pretty rare to find artists in the genre that I genuinely enjoy. I love ambient music though. But I actually really enjoyed some of the more electronic pieces in your video. This looks like a fun idea, and being a composer myself it's something I've also thought about (you know, video game accompanying the music - although my music would not work as well, maybe because of having lyrics, I find that instrumental music combines a lot better).

About the game, or 3D explorable world, since it has no objectives it might suffer for it - I'm speaking for myself here! I enjoy explorable worlds, but if there's no objectives I will end up tired of it. Yes, having a world to explore is amazing, and that's the first thing I do (for example, I've been playing Skyrim for around 20 hours, and I've only done 2 quests, I've been exploring the rest of the world) but soon enough I'll have to concentrate on the quests or it will get stale.

But since this is a free feature that comes with the EPs it should work pretty well to 'promote' and will surely mark people a lot more than just a free EP. I'm interested in seeing the final thing.

Sorry for the long post, got carried away I'll keep an eye on this though!
