    This is a walk through with me narrating some of the different areas and why I set things up the way I did.

    WIP - UDK Deck - Mini Map Add On

    You've all probably seen a few of these on these forums already, but I wanted to post up my version of a small add on map for the Deck that we all know and love from UDK.

    I wanted to keep true to some of the themes that the Deck level conveys while putting my own spin on the level.

    The first thing that stands out to me about the Deck level is that it has three distinct levels. The basement with the pool of green liquid and the large mechanical structure, the second level that has an industrial look but is much ‘cleaner’ than the basement. And finally the top, that seems to be a mix of a concrete prison with a shanty town roof.

    I wanted to hold true to that theme by giving my mini map the same three levels.

    Basically, I wanted to present this as some kind of nuclear waste ‘re-purposing' facility and hope that people who play the level want to ‘find out more’ about the facility like what is actually in the large tower, and where the green liquid goes and why it is being moved (and why they would need to protect it in such a large and daunting facility).

    Any and all constructive criticism is welcome. There is still some more stuff I would like to get to in this, but would always appreciate feedback on what is there so far.
