Elysia - Action Adventure, Early work in progress prototype demonstration

Being a 90's kid, I've drawn a lot of inspiration from platformers and adventure games. In particular, Mario 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog for Genesis. There is also influence for games I played later in life such as Kingdom Hearts.

Many graphics are borrowed from Epic's defaults.
Main Character is my work.
"Fighting Fate" is the background song, simply used as a placeholder as there is no finalized music yet.

Yeah, the animations could use some work. This is actually my first time animating at all, so I'm still in the process of learning. I promise they'll look much better in the final.
