Angkor: Face of the Ancestors - iOS Game

    Hi guys!

    About Game:
This is an action adventure game telling the fate of a US marine entangled in a series of mysterious incidents, all happening during the Vietnam War. As the only survivor from a crash of a helicopter sent to the rescue of American soldiers vanished without a trace, he uncovers a secret much older and far more dangerous than anyone could imagine. Abandoned in the jungle and fighting for life, he desperately tries to get behind enemy lines; but the following chain of events ensures that the escape itself will become much less of a priority.

    Key attributes:
    • Detailed, fully 3-dimensional graphics perfectly conveying the realms of subtropical jungle.
    • Dynamic and realistic sound
    • Smooth, realistic animation
    • Immersive, engaging story line
    • Several types of weapons (including grenades), true to the realms of the Vietnam War
    • Air maps of every region
    • Intuitive, natural cover system
    • GameCenter integration for Leaderboards and Achievements

thx merc-ai, we spent a lot of time on optimization and constantly improving performance because plants and trees are very 'special' kind of objects on mobile platform, so I think that we strike a happy medium.

This is our first project with UDK, so I can promise that the next will be better

The game looks great. Reminds somewhat of Cannon Fodder, even if it isn't the same kind of game.

One thing does puzzle me though - why is it called Angkor if it set during the Vietnam war?

Because that place (Angkor - the ancient empire) is a part of story/history in this game, and I can't say anything more

I'm going to be picky, but the empire you're looking for is the Khmer Empire - Angkor is but a place

You are right But Angkor is a region of Cambodia (part of Khmer Empire).
But it does not matter at this moment because the story presented in the game consists of various places that region (Vietnam and Cambodia today).

Congratulations historical interest and thank you for a good grade!
