You site appears to be a little on the dead side, getting <10kb/s (on a 30mb line). Had finally decided to take the plunge and get my pirate on as well.

So my brief initial observations:

- Definitely needed a tutorial, put a tutorial button on your main menu that at the *least* gives key commands. I was utterly confused about what was going on when I joined Ideally you would have a tutorial level that lets the player try everything out offline.
- I would suggest a more obvious way to choose classes, I had absolutely no idea how it was being chosen, which made the experience even more confusing!
- Make interactive objects more clear and more obvious. Similar to how vehicles work, have a floating hud element indicating it can be used and what the user has to press to do something.
- Put on screen warnings/dialouge to let people know whats going on. Being hit by cannons? Let us know. Being boarded? Let us know.
- Would strongly suggest making it playable offline?

Over all, very interesting and cool. Loved the art style, it was just hilariously confusing online. People were running around confused and bewildered, and without others understanding how to chat (console commands), it was sort of like chickens with heads cut off For reference, my first join, my screen kept flashing Red as if I was getting hurt and I had absolutely no idea why (we were getting hit by cannons). Great work, it has potential it just really needs polish in the "direct the player what is going on" !

Is this game dead now? I downloaded it and I can't join any servers, it just says loading for a second then goes back to the select a server screen.

I had a little problem with the game. It starts, but once I have selected a server, and the game is loading, the loading will be aborted and I return to the server selection. How to fix this problem?
