    Use for Adventure game?

I am currently using Adventurs Game Studio to make adventure games.
I am looking to move up and make them look better.
Would the Unreal Engine 3 even allow one to make an adventure game? Point and click.

I am sure it can. But it takes abit of knowledge in scripting to get it to work unless someone out there has the code for the mouse to be able to point and click. Ive seen alot of 2.5D games out there, who have a similar code to the one you want.

I believe Kaldrick is trying to show the use of an inventory system that would be used for such adventure studio style game.

As far as making games like adventure studio it is possible. Huge learning curve going from one to the other as they are not in anyway the same & a lot of custom programming would need to be done for things like Inventory, Movement System, Character Interactions, Etc... But if people can make 3rd person RPGs with this then an Adventure Studio game would be doable. Not really sure where you would learn that kind of stuff though.

I would recommend starting out with scene creation first. There are tutorials all over for that, if you like that and can make some good scenes it will help you to understand the UDK Editor and then move forward from there.

Selecting and picking up/using items put in game, inventory systems, in-game puzzles and interaction (scaleform based RTT objects).
