Thank you, Drevlin, and also wish you good luck.

This remake I had planned for six years. Just three years I was preparing an ideological base to make its version of the game more than the remake.

To sell this game to me seems pointless, because it is not the original game, but she had already sold, and brought its creators profit. The profit that I would like to bring to the creators of the original game - a sign that the old games today are not forgotten.

Alright. Would just hate to see you spend time on this project only for it to be dropped by the original owners, so I hope you know what youre doing.

    Good luck!

No, in Russia, international law is unviable. First of all, because of peculiarities of our country.
I know that now is the development of new games under the label XCom, however, Enforcer for this game has nothing to do.
Truth to tell, from Take-Two personally I would not see the FPS, and RTS under the label X-COM. However, it is their choice. Maybe the game they are developing to be much more successful than anything that tried to create Microprose.
Original X-COM: Enforcer was developed by Microprose in 2001 year.

wouldnt this fall under international law though?
I dont know much about laws, but i have seen many mods go under for using established IPs. Also, there is a new Xcom game on the way so the IP is in no way "old".

Legislation of the Russian Federation does not prohibit the establishment of non-commercial products under the well-known labels. In this case, the creator shall refer to the copyright holders.

Could you provide a source for this claim?
