  • Staffordshire University Boot Camp: Thats Not Your Camel!

    Over this Week Staff and Students at Staffordshire University will be making a game project in UDK. The aim of the week is to produce two levels for a insane third person camel carrying racing game!

    The game is intended for release at the End of Friday..... more to follow......

    We will be posting progress in this thread throughout the week.

                        Hi everyone, just a quick update to our progress. Friday has come and gone and we havent got a finished product yet, however the intention is to carry on with the game. It was an awesome week and some great work came out of it! I will post up some images of all the work as soon as I have them so you can see what result we have from the week.

                        One of us will post up more details about when we are going to continue with this project!

                          I've been working on organising the assets we produced into a series of packages. I'm also polishing some of the stuff we already worked on. Here's a bunch of lava props (meshes, fluid actor, particles). Click image for video.



                          I've also settled on a really nice pipeline for creating rock meshes and I'm thinking about redoing all the cave rocks to bring them in line with the quality of these new meshes.
