I like how much you've committed to the definite old school platformer look/feel/theme. Good progress so far. Maybe edit your title (if possible) to let people know it's a side scroller? People love them, a good idea to let them know what they're about to look at right there in the thread title.

Were currently working hard to produce a tutorial level.
We should have some art to show and the demo in 2 or 3 weeks.

danimal': All the art you see is just placeholder for now. Were currently figuring out our color pallets and how the world is going to look. Were in our Pre-Production stage.

We have set the style for the game. We are now creating the levels/in-game assets.

I have uploaded a short video. Once we have more finalized meshes, we'll release a playable demo and longer videos.

I'am stuck between removing the HUD all together OR just keeping the health indicator with scaleform.

I would remove it completely if I could change the material of the icecream part on the character depending on his health, but I don't know how to do that in UnrealScript. So we'll see.
