    Gotham Racing Environment

My submission for the Gotham Racing Environment Challenge, as part of the BSc Computer Games Design, Advanced Modelling Portfolio module at Staffordshire University in the UK.

All of the objects and buildings were produced in 3DS Max 2010, and then imported into UDK. Textures and normal maps were produced in Photoshop and also imported into UDK.

All references came from 405 Broadway, New York, NY 10013, USA

Cool! How did you do the interiors? Are they modeled out or is it a nifty material trick?

Thanks, it uses a material trick that is described in detail with this paid for tutorial by eat3d: http://eat3d.com/materials

Its a good tutorial, but I believe its the bump offset node. It allows different things to look like there passing at different speeds. (Depths)

Ah, yeah! I actually had that video and hadn't watched it yet. lol. I was wondering if you had used a bump-offset trick or a cube map (Like in crackdown). Either way, It looks great
