The animations look good but the character actually translates 3d space.. Does udk have accumulation that allows movement of the root node?

Yeah UDK uses root motion to translate the animation in 3d space, think its pretty standard in most engines today, it just needs setting up in code in most situations to work correctly.

Edit: by the way i think the project is looking good, how many people are on board with this?
