Import cinema 4d objekts with materials - how?

Hey guys.
Like the headline says, i want to know how i can export an objekt and object WITH its materials.
For example this cube:

I want to import it to the udk, without loosing the "red glowing" or the red color or the black color.
Help would be really great.

UDK uses it's own material system. The best you could do would be importing your materials as textures, and then using them to create udk materials.

As cube2222 said, just export your material as textures and import them into udk. Then just create a material in udk -> those links will help you to achieve such a glowing effect:

Yep, then the glow is gone, but it's easie to recreate it -> just take a look at those links that I posted

ok, now i importet the cube without any textures etc., made the material, but now the "apply material" funktion at rightclicking an objekt is away!

Probably its just transparent?

The best would be if you could send us a picture of your material or probably the cube, so that we can test it out for you

hm ok guys i think its a bug
if i rightclick the cube, i can choose "select material from contetbrowser" under material.
After this i have to save and build lights to see the material on the cube
Now im going to watch some vids on how to create a glowing material. Thanks for all, guys.
