I just read the first book and wow the last few chapters were intense. I can't wait to start the next novel.

Yup the books are amazing, i loving going back and rereading them. Karen does a phenomenal job giving the characters more depth. Im sad she won't be doing anymore.

Yeah the back story only made me fall even more in love with the Gears universe.

Is there a confirmation of this somewhere? I'd like to see it for myself... If it's indeed true, that's regrettable. I trust her with Gears of War. That's not said lightly. All of her novels were quite good.
Gears nut from the very start with Gears 1 in 2006. Dedicated and proud.

Yup, the books do a great job of bringing out the Gears world. Still need to pick up The Slab as its not in stock yet...
I'll check in every now and again but for the most part, I won't be as active as I was previously. It really was the Gears + people that got me posting on here in the first place. Unless Epic release an awesome game or something. I'm leaving this message because I'm obviously a very, very important person.

Hope to see a lot of you on the BT Forums! - 11/02/2014 (lol)
