Question A laptop that would run UDK??

I am going to college very soon. And after that I will be hitting the road.

I am wanting a laptop that I can do some serious work with. I want it to run Blender without flinching. And have no problem with UDK. And if I`m lucky play most any game released in the next five years. So potentially Unreal 4.

I am not sure if I want a mac. Considering that I have grown so accustomed to windows. But you know best.

And if it is possible do so without breaking the bank. I am a college student after all.

I am no computer tech guru. So I am hoping that you guys could help me.

Any game over the next 5 years is probably pushing it for a laptop. And Unreal 4 runs on a GTX 680, which I haven't heard of having a laptop equivalent.

Any gaming laptop is definitely going to break the bank of a college student. They can be very pricey.

I'd honestly go with a desktop, it's much better in the long term (upgradeability, for one), and it's cheaper in the short term.
    - Please do not send me questions regarding programming or implementing things in UDK via Private Message. I do not have time to respond and they are much better answered in the forums. -

My laptop runs UDK fine. :P It has an Intel HD 3000 graphics card... so... yeah

But when UDK with Unreal Engine 4 comes out.... that I am questioning.

What you are looking for is an Alienware... minus the pricing of them.

I use an ASUS g73jw laptop as a desktop replacement and it eats UDK for breakfast. Wasn't particularly cheap though.

For anything 3d-related i strongly suggest DELL hardware, really professional prodoucts but alittle costy.. if you really want to have anything to do with 3d graphic dont waste money on a crappy mac where you will need to install windows on because you cant even use 3d programs... and for a mac book pro price you can buy an awesome alienware laptop(wich if you have alot of money to spend its your best shoot), i have the 15" one from 3 years now and its still running most recet games, UDK, zbrush and 3d max "like a boss", just had to upgrade from 4gb to 8gb of ram a year ago.

most important is graphics for udk.

    edit:
dont make the mistake of buying an acer, there is a reason they are cheap.
